  Poor customer service provided by an employee named Julie. When I first walked in store I approached this employee to show her the coupon I was there to use and asked her what I could get because I did not want to waste time looking at things that I was not eligible to get. She said “anything you use on your body up to $13.50.” I said so can I use it on perfume/body spray? She said “well you use that on your body dont you? But no, because it exceeds the price limit.” Her first comment was too vague. She just stated what I already read on the coupon, I wanted specific clarification. Her second comment was blatantly rude. I then found sale on miniature bottles of body spray. 3 for $12 something. I thought, oh this is less than $13.50 and I can get the spray I want, so I got in line with my 3 items. She came up to me and said “ you can’t get those with this coupon” I asked why? She stood over my shoulder, pointed to the words on coupon and said” honey, it says right here 1 item up to $13.50” I tried to explain what I was thinking that it was less than $13.50. She says “honey, it does not use the word items.” I said I think you should be a little more respectful and less rude to your customers, that is why I asked you to begin with what could I get with this coupon. She says “ well honey, there is no s on the word item.” I stormed out of store empty handed and imbarrassed about how she talked down to me in front of other customers when all I wanted was kind helpful service like this... “ you can pick out any single item that is applied to your skin that is up to $13.50, but I know that all the body sprays exceed this price so you will not be able to get any body spray” I would have asked how about bath bombs and lip gloss or is it going to be only lotion that I can get? Then I would have only looked at the items I could get. To get back to her comments, I feel the term “honey” is only used for a special person in your life like significant other or your darling precious child/grandchild, not a complete stranger/customer. She was using the word repeatively in a demeaning manner.
